In each newsletter, a board member introduces himself or herself, and I get to kick things off.
My name is Vincent and since October 2023 I am the proud president of Jong Logistiek Nederland. I also work as Supervisor Facility Operations at DSV Solutions in South-West Netherlands and am busy preparing our new location along the A17 in Moerdijk.
My role at JLN stems from my passion for the logistics industry. I want to show young logisticians how versatile this sector is by giving them hands-on experience. In doing so, I hope to enthuse many more others about the sector, just as others have done for me.
Review of Terberg visit
On Thursday, March 6, Jong Logistiek Nederland and DSV Next visited Terberg Special Vehicles in Benschop.
During the visit, a brief presentation was given about Terberg, followed by an explanation of the logistics concept and improvement projects within the production process of the vehicles.
This was followed by a presentation on DSV’s sustainability goals and how electric terminal tractors will contribute to them. We were then taken for a tour of the factory and warehouse. Click here for the entire report.

Dé Logistieke Speeddate
The Logistics Speeddate is the event for those looking for a (graduation) internship, traineeship or first job. During the event participants speeddate with different companies. In short talks of 10 minutes both parties introduce themselves to each other and the possibilities can be discussed.
