Partner event: European Hyperloop Center & Euroterminal Emmen-Coevorden

On Thursday, July 10, Rail Cargo Information is organizing a visit to the European Hyperloop Center and Rail Terminal in Coevorden.

The program starts with a reception and presentation by Jos Veldhuis, general director of Euroterminal Emmen-Coevorden. Jos will give an insight into the logistics processes at the terminal, the connections possible from Coevorden and the role of the terminal in the regional economy. This will be followed by a tour of the site.

Then we move to Groningen Railport in Veendam, where this year’s European Hyperloop Week is taking place. Groningen Railport is one of the largest inland rail terminals in the Netherlands and is an important link between the ports in the west (Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Antwerp) and the north (Bremen, Hamburg). Terminal management is in the hands of Groningen Railport on behalf of Groningen Seaports and the Municipality of Veendam.
