On Wednesday, June 17, Jong Logistiek Nederland is organizing a company visit to Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer.

Royal FloraHolland is the largest international marketplace for flowers and plants and has been the beating heart of the ornamental horticulture sector for decades. From Naaldwijk, enormous volumes find their way daily from grower to buyer, guided by a refined interplay of logistics, commerce, and timing. What happens here has a direct impact on the global flower and plant chain.

A visit to this marketplace means getting up early, but it’s precisely in the morning that logistics truly comes to life. You will experience up close how millions of flowers and plants are processed and traded at lightning speed, and how crucial logistics is for freshness, speed, and reliability. We start at 9:00 AM and will take you into a world where every minute counts.
