Company visit Port of Moerdijk

On Wednesday, June 18, Jong Logistiek Nederland and Rail Cargo Information are organizing a visit to Port of Moerdijk with the theme of multimodality.

The port offers solutions by road, water, rail, making it a vital hub of multimodality for the region and for Europe. Port of Moerdijk is now home to more than 400 companies.

During this visit, three companies will open their doors to give you a unique look behind the scenes. The afternoon starts at 2:30 p.m. at Passant restaurant, where we are welcomed by Kyra Lemmens, Commercial Manager Logistics at Port of Moerdijk. Afterwards, four speakers will tell about their company’s activities in the port:

  • Peter van Veelen, general manager at CCT Moerdijk
  • André Mast, Commercial Director at A2B Online
  • Susanne Dirksen, Head of Sales at Schavemaker Logistics & Transport
  • Caroline Koiter and Bram Roosendaal, director and rail talent 2024 of Rail Cargo Information Netherlands

The presentations will be followed by an extensive tour by coach of CCT’s multimodal terminal. So you can see for yourself how the port puts multimodality into practice. We end the day with a social drink upon our return.

The event is free to students, young professionals up to age 30, and members of JLN, VLM and Rail Cargo Information.
