Jong Logistiek Nederland (JLN) connects students and young professionals up to the age of 30. We show young logisticians the versatility of logistics by giving them hands-on experience, and provide the knowledge and contacts for a successful career in the logistics sector.
What does the role entail?
As an ambassador, you are the face of JLN at your college or university. You make sure your network is informed and also participate yourself in our events. There you help the organizers on the spot. Without having to organize anything yourself, you get the chance to do something extra in an accessible way and make yourself visible within the logistics network.
Who are you?
- You are studying or have recently graduated from college or university in logistics, supply chain management, (technical) business administration or a similar field;
- You are enthusiastic about logistics and enjoy telling others about it.
What do we expect from you?
- You attend at least four events per year, including at least one at The Annual Conference or Dé Logistieke Speeddate;
- You will represent JLN at at least one open house or other event at a college or university near you;
- You promote JLN at your college, university or within your network and get (fellow) students or acquaintances to participate in our activities;
- You will keep a close eye on our social media and actively respond and like to increase reach.
What do we offer you?
Ambassadorship is voluntary, but not optional. We expect a proactive attitude and that you meet the expectations listed above. If you succeed, we offer you the following:
- A free membership that gives you free access to both JLN and VLM events;
- Twice a year an outing with all board members and ambassadors;
- A unique opportunity to connect with professionals and companies within the logistics industry;
- A fun and educational experience that you can do alongside your studies, without a large time investment.
