Jong Logistiek Nederland (JLN) connects students and young professionals up to the age of 30. We show young logisticians the versatility of logistics by giving them hands-on experience, and provide the knowledge and contacts for a successful career in the logistics sector.
What does the role entail?
As a board member of Jong Logistiek Nederland, you play an active role in connecting students, young professionals and professionals within the sector. You will work together in an enthusiastic board, organize unique events and build a network that will benefit you for the rest of your career.
Who are you?
- You work in logistics or study at a college or university in logistics, supply chain management, (technical) business administration or something similar;
- You have a passion for the logistics sector and want to actively contribute to the growth of Jong Logistiek Nederland.
What do we expect from you?
- You will attend meetings every two weeks, online every other week and on location in Utrecht;
- You actively think about the strategy and further growth of Jong Logistiek Nederland;
- You organize and coordinate events such as The Annual Conference, Dé Logistieke Speeddate, company visits or the like;
- You will maintain contact with existing partners and help build new partnerships;
- You will contribute to JLN’s visibility, both online and offline, and help recruit new members.
What do we offer you?
Being a board member is voluntary, but not optional. We are looking for someone who wants to be actively involved for a longer period of time. It is a serious responsibility, but also an opportunity to develop yourself, build a network and make a real contribution. In return you get the following:
- A free membership that gives you free access to both JLN and VLM events;
- Twice a year an outing with all board members and ambassadors;
- A unique opportunity to connect with professionals and companies within the logistics industry;
- A fun and educational experience that you can do alongside your studies or job.
