About JLN
Jong Logistiek Nederland connects students and young professionals up to the age of 30. We show young logisticians the versatility of logistics by giving them hands-on experience, and provide the knowledge and contacts for a successful career in the logistics sector.
The genesis
Jong Logistiek Nederland (JLN) emerged from the former ‘vLm Young Professionals’ and is a joint project of two key players in the logistics sector: Vereniging Logistiek Management (VLM) and EVO (evofenedex).
In 2005, Mark van Ommen and Jan Kraaijveld founded vLm Young Professionals, with the support of Hessel Visser. In 2010, Sybrand Meersschaert, Sven de Keiser and Rienk Bierenbroodspot further developed this initiative into Jong Logistiek Nederland, as it exists today as a foundation.

Mission
Vision
Jong Logistiek Nederland aims to help young logistics and supply chain professionals realize their full potential. We believe that the development of young talent goes beyond school or current employer and therefore offer knowledge and contacts for building a successful career within the logistics sector.
