During the visit, RenĂ© van der Zel gave us a tour of the warehouse where an expansion had opened less than a week earlier. During the tour, we got an insight into XXL Nutrition’s impressive growth: from a webshop run from a garage to the largest sports nutrition brand in the Netherlands and Belgium with a 10,000m2 warehouse.
Despite their growth, they still do the logistics all by themselves, and during the tour we got to see the challenges involved in running an (e)Commerce business. Because in addition to shipping more than 3,000 orders a day, XXL Nutrition also delivers to fitness centers and hundreds of supermarkets, each of which has its own logistics flow.
