Company visit Picnic

On Thursday, May 22, 2025, Jong Logistiek Nederland is organizing a company visit to Picnic in Zwolle, the Netherlands.

Picnic is the fastest growing online supermarket in the Netherlands and is known for its innovative approach to logistics. From their advanced hubs and fulfillment centers, they deliver groceries to the door at lightning speed and completely electrically. With their proprietary software, route planning and smart data usage, Picnic is a frontrunner in the retail logistics of the future.

The fulfillment centers in Apeldoorn and Heerenveen will soon close their doors. Due to Picnic’s rapid growth, these older locations could no longer handle the demand and proved less suitable for sustainability. With the new 40,000 m² e-fulfilment center, Picnic is ready for the future.
