Company visit CEVA Logistics and Zalando

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 Jong Logistiek Nederland is organizing a company visit at Zalando Bleiswijk’s highly automated fulfillment center. The logistics operation is carried out entirely by CEVA Logistics.

At 140,000 square meters or nearly 20 soccer fields, the logistics site, run by CEVA, is the largest in Zalando’s European fulfillment network. Total storage space is about 16 million items. KNAPP’s shuttle system moves between storage locations in both longitudinal and transverse directions, allowing it to get to any location at the relevant storage level. This gives the shuttle the ability to place totes in the correct order for delivery to one of 48 goods-to-people workstations.
