Last week we had the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management at the invitation of Director General Kees van der Burg.
This was in response to the keynote session Kees delivered at our 2024 Annual Conference on the theme of mobility.
We talked to Kees, Petrouschka Werther, Arjan van Vliet and Gianluca van Knippenberg about various topics, such as the backstop truck levy and the Super Eco Combi. We also discussed how the ministry deals with changing policies and what that means for making and implementing long-term plans.
Finally, we told how Jong Logistiek Nederland shows students and young professionals the versatility of logistics by giving them hands-on experience, and how we can involve young officials in the process.
